Changes to the Nutrition Facts Label

On May 27, 2016, the FDA issued a final ruling for calculating Nutrition Facts. This applies to all packaged foods. Serving sizes were updated to reflect what people are actually eating, and some of the nutritional content listed has changed.

The serving size for most canned seafood items has increased from 55g to 85g. Please read all nutrition labels carefully, as the new requirements have resulted in updated nutritional values. During this transition, packaging with varying nutritional values will be in the marketplace. Crown Prince has taken this opportunity to redesign our packaging while incorporating the new nutrition facts information, therefore you will also begin to see new label designs on the shelf.
